My very sweet, very pregnant friend Amy

In my attempt to become a photographer, I headed to Santa Cruz for my first photo shoot. My long time friend Amy is due with her fifth baby girl in a couple of weeks and she's never had maternity pics taken. The best part is that she agreed for me to take pics of her newborn when she arrives as well! I can't wait to do that one! What an opportunity. I offered as a chance to refine my photo taking skills and because every mom needs pics of themselves prego! We had such a good time going to different locations and just having fun! And of course we went to West Cliff to visit my old pal, the ocean. Tessa is so cute when she says ocean too. It's amazing that she knows that that's what it is, and not just "water". We hung out around the house, went to Trader Joes and the Pacific Cookie Co., picked girls up from school and make homemade pizza for dinner! A fantastic day with a wonderful friend!
