jay and i went on a date last night. we were planning on getting taqueria and then going to see Twilight since jay hasn't seen yet, because he has read most of the first book. megan took tess when she came to pick up allie. jay and i had just gotten dinner when megan called me. tessa had a fever, so we got our food to-go and went to pick her up. poor little thing...she was lying on the ground totally still. even though we missed having our date, we were still excited to go pick tess up! we brought her home...and jay, galen, and lowell gave her a blessing. i put her to bed and when i was done praying with her, she didn't even open her eyes. i felt so bad for her, there's nothing like seeing your child in pain and not feeling good. when i went to bed, i decided to check her temp...it was almost 105 degrees....wow. i called a nurse and she told me what to do. turns out jay had a temp too.
...so here i am sitting here at the computer with a sick baby and husband. my whole day feels thrown off...but the good news is, i'm healthy and i getting some projects done that i've been really wanting to do! here's to taking care of a sick family and sewing projects....

Sorry to hear the 2 of them are sick. Sounds like there's something going around. Around Thanksgiving it sounded like a cold was going around but this time around it seems to be a flu of some sort. Hope they recover soon!
