thunderstorms

Jay and I discovered that last weeks thunder and lightening storm was the first storm that we have experienced together since we've been married....That goes to show you how often California has thunder and lightening storms. Its a truly sad story!

I remember when my family lived in Oregon and we used to sit outside on the patio as a family with blankets wrapped around us all cozy and watched the sky as the lightening shattered over our heads and we'd wait in suspense to hear the roar of the thunder...We'd sit outside forever and listen to the rain and sit there in awe of Heavenly Father's creations. I think there is something magical and even humbling about storms, as cheesy as that sounds. Good memories, happy memories....
